Lunch/Snack Programs at John English


Healthy Bites Lunch Program (G1-8): Healthy Bites offer hot lunches to students from Grade 1 to 8 in the cafeteria during their assigned lunch times. By registration only.

Morning Snack Program: John English is pleased to continue to offer a Morning Snack program to support student learning and wellbeing. The TDSB recognizes the direct relationship between nutrition and student achievement and research shows that students who have healthy food at school are better able to learn and function.

This program relies on donations so if you are willing and able, please consider a donation on SchoolCashOnline.

The suggested YEARLY contribution for each child is as follows:

  • Grades 1-8: Provided twice a week for all students $30
  • All Kindergarten: Provided daily – $60
